A small cabin that was relocated in a field that belonged to Jesse Brown a farmer and a preacher that lived in the area.
Small communities often did not have a preacher of their own and having to few people to support a church would rely on traveling preachers called " Circuit Riding" preachers. These preachers would come through town and preach for the day.
The field where the cabin and church stand is where the circuit preacher Bill Church and Willie Lee frequented. The church see here mainly served as a shelter from bad weather and the preaching was usually done outside.
